Shipping, as almost all businesses, is based on relationships. On the other hand, people are globally spread and they do not have a lot of chances to meet each other. That is why most participants see each other very rarely and that's why attending conferences is the main way to meet old friends and find new clients. So we would recommend to each and every professional of the freight market to attend at least one conference per year. For the rest of the year you may find new clients in OpenSea marketplace which is not only convenient to find out the right ship or cargo, but also to fix charters and improve your overall productivity.
